What is JamNow.com

Hello All:

This is our first posting and we are just going to introduce ourselves and give you guys and girls an idea of what we do:

JamNow.com is a free interactive website that offers a three part product:

JamNow offers the opportunity for artists of all genres to create audio content online through a free membership and our downloadable software. With this software, users have the option of giving a LIVE online concert, in real time, from virtually anywhere they please.

Some great features that JamNow offers are the abilities to musically collaborate LIVE online with other users from two or more remote locations, the ability to record, edit, and post their content onto their profiles, and also the ability to chat with an artist, streaming live, from anywhere in the world (all for FREE).

JamNow offers LIVE online concerts and interviews with high profile, influential, and up and coming artists for fans all over the world to enjoy for free, from our very own in-house venues. These concerts generally range within a 30 minute set time frame, with a very free form (un-FCC regulated) interview as an added bonus for fans.

There is no limit to the amount of listeners that can tune in, and they don’t even have to register on the site to do so (simply go to the URL and click the “Live Now” link when the artist is performing), plus they have the ability to chat with the artist for free. The benefit of membership and using the free software to tune in to a show, is having the ability to physically talk with the artist, in real time, from anywhere in the world through a computer mic and headphones.

The artist and event is promoted in the “Featured” section on JamNow.com in a three week cycle (the week before, the week during, and the week after the event), in our news section, and on all of the social networking sites that we operate on daily, through blasts and bulletins. JamNow will supply an event banner to the artists’ management, publicity, and label, linking back to their JamNow profile, to be embedded into the artists’ MySpace page, website, etc. A very important key note is that the amount of promotion completed on the artists’ behalf is in direct relation to the amount of listeners that tune into the event.

JamNow offers venues, from all over the country, the opportunity to stream their nightly shows LIVE using their sound equipment and our software. By joining JamNow.com as a member, venues are able to use the downloadable software in the same way that an individual artist would and stream their LIVE shows from their profiles.

Some examples of venues that are operational with our technology currently are The Asbury Lanes (Asbury Park, NJ), Herman’s Jazz Club (British Columbia, Victoria, Canada), The Creekside Lounge (Austin, Tx), and Irie Bean Coffee Bar (Austin, Tx).

The content that is produced through JamNow.com is owned by the artist or label that they represent; JamNow does not own any of the content that is streamed live or posted, from the user’s location to our own venue!
